VOLUNTEER SHIFTS COMPLETED FOR THE YEAR
Parent Chaperone for Captain's Practice - Captains will be running the practices, but we need to have an adult present from 3:30-6 pm. All you have to do is sit on the bleachers so feel free to bring a book or your laptop and get some work done!
JAF Fundraisers - The Jefferson Athletic Foundation provides generous funding for our girls basketball program. In exchange they require us to work five events throughout the year. Please volunteer to support this generous organization by working at Carmine's, Full Tilt, or NorthStar Tavern.
Home Game Support - We have three different jobs that we need to fill to support our home games. (1) Work the concessions during the games. Concessions has two different shift times. Must have one 18+ person working during shifts, but younger folks are welcome as well. (2) Run the game clock during the B Squad Game. (3) Record the books during the B Squad Game. *If you need help to learn these roles, we will have resources available. Each player's family is required to work a minimum of three shifts during the season. It is recommended that the Varsity/JV families work during B Squad and vice versa so everyone gets a chance to watch their girls play
MYAS Tournament - This tournament is our largest fundraiser of the year. It is expected that each family works a minimum of four shifts each year. The jobs include selling admission tickets, concessions, apparel or being a court monitor. Instructions will be provided. This year the tournament will be held on February 22-23, 2025.
End of Year Banquet - Volunteers are needed to help plan and decorate for the End of the Year Banquet. We are looking for someone to help decorate, run check in and create a slide show. If you have interest in helping, please email jagsgirlshoops@gmail.com
