Volunteer sign ups

In order to support our home games, we need volunteers to work concessions.  Concessions has two different shift times.  Must have one 18+ person working during shifts, but younger folks are welcome as well.  Each basketball family is required to work a minimum of three shifts during the season.  It is recommended that mainly JV player families work during Varsity game and vice versa so everyone gets a chance to watch their girls play!

• Home Game Support  - Jan/Feb

Team Dinners - Team dinners will be hosted at the Jefferson High School cafeteria immediately following practice so all girls can attend.  We need volunteers to provide different food items.  Please see the sign-ups for more details.

MYAS Tournament - SAVE THE DATE for February 28 and March 1st, 2026!  This tournament is our largest fundraiser of the year.  It is expected that each family works a minimum of four shifts each year.  The jobs include selling admission tickets, concessions, apparel or being a court monitor.  Instructions will be provided.  Volunteers need to be 18+ with the exception of concessions.  Watch for the sign up in early 2026.

End of Year Banquet - Volunteers are needed to help plan and decorate for the End of the Year Banquet.  We are looking for people to chair the banquet, help decorate, run check in and create a slide show. If you have interest in one of these roles, please email jagsgirlshoops@gmail.com. The banquet will be held sometime mid to late March.   This years banquest is set for March 23rd.

JAF Fundraisers - The Jefferson Athletic Foundation provides generous funding for our girls basketball program.  In exchange they require us to work five events throughout the year.  Please volunteer to support this generous organization by working at Carmine's, Full Tilt, or NorthStar Tavern.  Volunteers need to be 18+.  We would like the girls of the parent/guardian volunteering to also come to the event and do the work.

Parent Chaperone for Captain's Practice -  Captains will be running the practices, but we need to have an adult present from 3:30-6:00 pm.  All you have to do is sit on the bleachers so feel free to bring a book or your laptop and get some work done!  Volunteers need to be 18+.
