We’re the proud home of Jefferson Girls Traveling Basketball Association who represent the next generation of our community.   JGTBA is a non-profit organization.  We rely on the support of local businesses and individuals like you to help give every kid the chance to play the sport that they love. Sports teach our kids about the value of teamwork, dedication, and discipline while helping them build character, confidence, and friendships that will last a lifetime. You can help us continue to provide kids with these opportunities by becoming a sponsor. The parents and athletes at our club love to support the businesses that support them. This sponsorship will give you a direct connection to our club’s parents, athletes, and fans where you can extend special offers, discounts, and messages of encouragement.

JGTBA is a tax-exempt organization under Internal Revenue Code 501(c)(3).  Donors can deduct contributions they make to JGTBA.  Under 501(c)(3), the IRS further classifies organizations as public charities or foundations.  JGTBA is also classified as a 509(a)(2) public charity since its funding comes from multiple sources (e.g. player fees, tournament revenue, sponsors, etc).

• JGTBA provides hardship scholarships for players.  These scholarships offset the cost of registration and tournament fees, uniform and a basketball.  In order to qualify, a parent/guardian must provide documentation of the financial hardship (i.e. qualifying for free and reduced school lunch). 
• Allows JGTBA to provide additional skills and development training for our players.
• Keeps the costs of our program down and competitive with other organizations.

Jefferson Girls Traveling Basketball Association welcomes local business as sponsors to help support our organization.  There are different options and levels of sponsorship.  For example, you could sponsor for the whole basketball season or at our annual hosted tournament, the Jefferson Classic, held in December.  We can also put together a more creative approach to a sponsorship to best meet your needs.   We would love to have your support!
